With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of James M. Wallace of Santa Clara, Utah, whose presence will be deeply missed. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his former wife Caroline Wallace; and his siblings, Michael Wallace, Daniel Wallace, Margaret Harnett and Ellen Ward.
He is survived by: his spouse Shirley; his children, Mary Patricia Fairchild (late Keith), Maureen, Cathy Rooney (late Peter), Jimmy (Teresa), Peggy Starshak (John), Eileen Kuzniar (Daniel), Martin (Jennifer), Colleen (Matt Broderick), Nancy Bristow (John), Edward (Allison) and Michael; and his sister Mary Ann Burns.
Visitation was held on Friday, April 4th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Saturday, April 5th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM. A Mass of Christian burial was held on Saturday, April 5th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Saint Giles Catholic Church (1025 Columbia Avenue, Oak Park, IL 60302). A burial was held on Saturday, April 5th 2025 at the Queen of Heaven Catholic Cemetery (1400 S Wolf Rd, Hillside, IL 60162).
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Misericordia Heart of Mercy, 6300 North Ridge, Chicago IL 60660.
