He was predeceased by : his parents, Ray Jackson and Armelia Clay Jackson; his wife Colleen Taylor; his brothers, Farrell, Alton Dale and Karl; and his grandson Eric Scott Hardy.

He is survived by : his friend Glenn W. Jackson; his son Steven Jackson (Margaret); his granddaughters, Jaqulynn, Jenelle and Jerrica (Miranda); his daughter Karen Cook (Kyle); his granddaughter Tawnee; his great grandchildren, Andrew, Jayden and Madalynn; his grandsons, Tyler and Cole; his daughter Teresa Jackson (Grace); and his brother John Jackson (Judy).
