He was predeceased by: his parents, Charley Henry and Bessie Barbara Jacklin Smith; his wife Florence; his in-laws, Andrew and Dagmar Daniels; his siblings, Floyd, Chuck, Ralph, Leora, Letha, Ruby and Edna; and his granddaughter Danielle.
He is survived by: his children, Duane Jr. Smith (Donna) and Betty Kelley (Doug) of Scipio, Utah; his grandchildren, Julie, Jackie Smith of Castaic, Michael Kelley of West Jordan, Justin Kelley (Starla) of West Jordan, Cassie Hughes (Chad) of Hurricane and Codi Ashby (Kyle) of Delta, Utah; his great grandchildren, Colby, Cassidee (Devon), Jayden, Light, Calan, Madison, Illiana, Callie Jo, Trystyn, Chaysen, Ashton, Traycen, Johanna, Sylvan, Cheyenne, Kalila, Krue, Kolt, Leith and Arabella; his great great grandchildren, Cora and Blakely; and his sister Evelyn Weaver. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Viewing will be held on Friday, June 27th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 10:45 AM at the Nickle Mortuary (190 S Center St, Delta, UT 84624). A funeral service will be held on Friday, June 27th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
