We bid farewell to Coy Elayne Shaffer of Smithfield, Utah, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on December 4, 2025 at the age of 83. Coy touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. In the vast expanse of eternity, Coy shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid Coy farewell, her loved ones carry with them the precious gift of her memory, a beacon of hope guiding them through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.
She is survived by: her son Todd F. Shaffer (Amy); her husband Dan Shaffer; her grandchildren, Benson, Kaleb and Micah of Clinton; and her brother Junior Chambers (LaRene).
Visitation will be held on Monday, December 15th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Tuesday, December 16th 2025 from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM at the Lindquist's Roy Mortuary (3333 W 5600 S, Roy, UT 84067). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, December 16th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial will be held on Tuesday, December 16th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Smithfield City Cemetery (300 E Center St, Smithfield, UT 84335).
