Dorothy Marie Jorgensen Obituary
We announce the death of Dorothy Marie Jorgensen of Smithfield, Utah, who passed away on October 14, 2026, at the age of 81. Dorothy will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. Dorothy will be remembered for the impact she had on the lives of those around her. Friends, family, and colleagues will cherish their memories and the time shared. Those who knew Dorothy will remember moments of kindness, warmth, and presence. Though words cannot fully capture her life, the legacy of connections and experiences remains. Dorothy’s absence will be deeply felt by those who valued her companionship.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Lear Jorgensen and Leonore Jorgensen; her brother Bruce Jorgensen; and her great grandchild Hoss Hemsley. She is survived by: her children, Karla Coleman (Jeff) of Teasdale, Deita Jensen (Tod) of Thatcher, Kody Roholt (Shelli) of Tremonton, Mike Roholt (Michelle) of Franklin, Leslie Harkins (Greg) of Glendive, Montana and Dusty Roholt (Toni) of Weston, Idaho. She is also survived by her six children, 30 grandchildren, and 51 great grandchildren.
Viewing will be held on Monday, October 19th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:30 AM at the LDS Thatcher/Williams Ward Building (2060 Niter Bench Rd, Grace, ID 83241). A funeral service will be held on Monday, October 19th 2026 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
