Duane Smith Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Duane Smith of Smithfield, Utah, born in Logan, Utah, who passed away on January 7, 2026, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his sister Linda Brown. He is survived by: his wife Jodi; his children, Jeremey Smith (Jill) and Shawn Smith; his stepchildren, Charisse Saxton (JR), Lori Durney (Josh) and Jessie Baird Rocky (Remington); his siblings, Reid Smith, Katharyn Smith and Sheri Bowden; and his former wife Linda Ledette. He is also survived by 16 grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to Primary Children's or St. Jude's Hospital's in his honor.
