He was predeceased by: his parents, William Slade and Wylene Slade; and his sister Brenda Weaver. He is survived by: his wife Carol Diann Sharp; his children, Roger Slade (Brenda), Amanda Adison (Kurt), Rosie Ashcroft (Greg) and Jason Slade (Samantha); and his grandchildren, Brendan, Ava Slade, Isaac Adison, Gracie Johnson (Wyatt), Essie, Charlotte and Parker Slade.
