She is survived by : her children, Tina Smith (Dale), James Ashby (Sharon), Tranette Carlisle (Dave), Kevin Ashby (Sarah), Balinda Whetstone (Robert), Bart Ashby (Peggy), Alice Christensen (Rod), David Ashby (Maria), Jared Ashby (Camille), Elizabeth Decker (Karl), Farina Buttars (Steve), Ruth Palmer (Brent) and Miriam Sagers (Bob). She is also survived by 59 grandchildren; 111 great grandchildren and 10 great, great grandchildren with 55 spouses.

Viewing was held on Friday, April 26th 2024 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Saturday, April 27th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Newton Church. A funeral service was held on Saturday, April 27th 2024 at 11:30 AM at the same location.
