She was predeceased by: her grandparents, Robert and Bess Nessen. She is survived by: her parents, Bobby Nessen and Andrea Nessen; her brother Arik; her grandparents, Cathie Sampson, Bill and Marianne Sampson; her pets, Porter and Grendel; and her sister Izbel Oswald. She is also survived by numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.
In one final act of generosity and love, Maddie chose to continue helping others through the gift of tissue and organ donation.
