It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Val Rae Egbert (Smithfield, Utah), who passed away on March 22, 2026, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his mother Melba Allen Egbert; and his brothers, Dennis, Joseph Farrel and Teryl. He is survived by: his father Milford John (Jack); his wife Judy; his children, Mike, Tamie Martin (Cory), Tracie Panter (Jeremy), Lisa, Kim Redd (Jeff) and Ginger Perry (Jon); and his siblings, Blaine, Ronald, Charlene, Jack and Kathleen. He is also survived by 17 grandchildren; and 7 great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to a local animal shelter, honoring Val's lifelong love for animals.
