With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Brent Backus (South Jordan, Utah), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on December 19, 2024 at the age of 77. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Leonard Backus and Thelma Backus (Lete); and his sisters, Connie Hofeling and Gloria Simons. He is survived by: his significant other Della McKee Backus of Dee's Old-Fashioned Drive; his children, Brenda Osborne (Sean), Brandon Backus (Stacy), April Thomas (Trinton) and Blake Backus (Jerald Thompson); his grandchildren, Alyssa, Hagen, Braxton and Makaylee; and his sister Caralee Skinner (Barry). He is also survived by 4 great grand-children, many other family members and close friends.
