Bruno leaves behind cherished memories for friends, family, and all who had the privilege of knowing him. Bruno’s life was marked by connections and experiences that touched those around him. He was predeceased by: his parents, Bruno Vassel II and Mary Erety Elmer. He is survived by: his wife Carolyn Kay Vassel; his children, P. Cayr Curtis (Matthew T. Curtis), Elizabeth Kay Smithson (J. Daniel Smithson), Bruno Vassel IV (Heidi Hart Vassel), Jennifer Lynn Orme (Drostan N. Orme) and Christopher Charles-Wendell Vassel (Kris Lindeman Vassel); and his sisters, Mary Erety Hill and Elisabeth Helen Andersen (Darian Andersen). He is also survived by 25 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.
Viewing will be held on Friday, October 9th 2026 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM, on Saturday, October 10th 2026 from 9:00 AM to 10:45 AM and from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints (10124 S 1300 W, South Jordan, UT 84095).
