He was predeceased by: his parents, Lawrence Riches and Alice Bennett Riches; and his son Steven. He is survived by: his children, Bradley, Shauna (George), Sharon (Ted), Marianne (Mark) and Karen (Don); and his caregiver Mote. He is also survived by 11 grandchildren, 19 great-grandchildren, and 1 great-great-grandson.
Viewing was held on Friday, October 17th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM, on Saturday, October 18th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 10:45 AM and from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Holladay 26th Ward (4601 Chapel Dr, Holladay, UT 84117). A funeral service was held on Saturday, October 18th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location.
