She was predeceased by: her parents, Joan Davidson Duerden and Leland C. Duerden; and her brother Steven. She is survived by: her husband Marc; her children, Nathan (Yoshiko), Rebecca, Rachel and Michael (Candice); and her siblings, Karen, Sterling (Angie) and Marilyn (Todd).
She sewed pajamas for charity and knitted countless slippers for family, friends, and those in need.
