We are sad to announce that, on March 24, 2026, at the age of 70, Chris S. Forbes (South Jordan, Utah) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the soft embrace of remembrance, we recall the profound impact Chris had on those she encountered along her journey. Though Chris may have slipped beyond the veil of mortality, her essence lingers like a faint fragrance in the air, a lingering reminder of the beauty and complexity of the human experience.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Don Sorenson and Pat Sorenson. She is survived by: her husband Randy; her daughters, Nicki Forbes and Randi Modahl (Drew Modahl); her grandsons, Skyler and Riley Modahl; and her siblings, Robyn Young and Cathy Lambourne.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made in Chris's name to the Special Olympics.
