She was predeceased by: her father Arthur Edward Spicer; her husband C. Leo Howes; her mother Ruth Biddle Spicer; her son Darryl Comly; and her siblings, Earl Spicer, Joseph Spicer, Edna Thompson, Pearl Corman, Adeline Schaffer and Betty Tyson.
She is survived by: her children, Jeremy Emmanuel (Julie), Sylvia Carroll (Linn) of West Jordan, UT, Sharon Woodhead (Carl) of Harrisburg, PA, Alan Comly (Leslie) of Murray, UT and Christine Comly of Harrisburg, PA; and her siblings, Elma Reese, Virginia Masullo, James Spicer (Sharon), Arthur J. Spicer (Ann), Ronnie Spicer (Kate) and Roy Spicer (Mary). She is also survived by 11 grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren, and one great-grand daughter.
