He was predeceased by: his parents, Ora Gray Davis and David Elroy Davis; his wife Marilyn Larson; his siblings, Erland Davis, JoAnn Lamb, Deniece Aldous and Cleora Brock; his son-in-law Robin Pilcher; and his close friend Marilyn.
He is survived by: his sister Cleo Anglesey (Merrill); and his children, David L. Davis (Vicky), Wendy L. Pilcher and Calvin L. Davis (Jodie). He is also survived by 12 grandchildren; 37 great-grandchildren; and 6 great-great-grandchildren.
He was a quiet servant, always looking for ways to help others, often found, working on wooden trucks for the Tiny Tim Foundation to give to children in need.
