With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Jay Davis in South Jordan, Utah, who passed away on October 3, 2025 at the age of 85. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Daniel Davis and Fern Wright; his former wife Sharlene; his grandchildren, Courtney and Andrew; his sister Sandy; and his sister-in-law Beverly.
He is survived by: his wife Carol; his children, Sean (Candice), Tim (Susan), Erin (Steve), Ashli (Brandon) and Ryan (Haylee); and his siblings, Don, Nancy (Gerald) and Joyce (Torrey). He is also survived by 29 grandchildren; 6 great-grandchildren.
Viewing will be held on Friday, October 10th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 12:45 PM at the Jenkins-Soffe Funeral Home (1007 West South Jordan Parkway, South Jordan, UT 84095). A funeral service will be held on Friday, October 10th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location. A graveside service will be held on Saturday, October 11th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Sunset Memorial Park (2296 Kimberly Rd, Twin Falls, ID 83301). A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, October 11th 2025 at 12:30 PM at the Home of Jerre and Shannon Tews (2454 4000 N, Filer, ID 83328). A memorial service will be held on Saturday, October 11th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
