With profound sadness, we say goodbye to John D Stemmons of South Jordan, Utah, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. John left this world on July 19, 2025 at the age of 84, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, John Daniel Stemmons and Rowena Leonora Stringham; his stepfather Glendon Humpherys; his sister-in-law Marlyn (Duane Stemmons); and his sister Dalene Burch.
He is survived by: his significant other Diane Yates Stemmons; his siblings, William (Bill), Duane Stemmons and Renae Summers (Ray); and his children, Jason (Alyce), Eric (Wendi), John (Jen), Amber (Chris Siddoway), Suzanne (Brandon Higbee), Becky (Ken Short) and Alan (Emily). He is also survived by twenty-seven grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
Viewing will be held on Sunday, July 27th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Monday, July 28th 2025 from 9:30 AM to 10:45 AM at the South Jordan Utah River Ridge 10th Ward (1409 W Shields Ln, South Jordan, UT 84095). A funeral service will be held on Monday, July 28th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
