John leaves behind cherished memories for friends, family, and all who had the privilege of knowing him. John’s life was marked by connections and experiences that touched those around him. Though he is no longer with us, the moments shared, the laughter, and the support he offered will continue to resonate. All who knew John will carry forward his memory in their hearts.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Lamar Loutensock and Sarah Tad Poulton. He is survived by: his wife Georgia Helene Moore Loutensock; his children, Mark Loutensock (Sasha), Rebecca Loutensock Williams and William Loutensock (Kristi); and his brothers, Richard Loutensock and Kent Loutensock. He is also survived by 10 grandchildren.
Viewing will be held on Sunday, October 25th 2026 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Monday, October 26th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 10:45 AM at the Mount Olympus Ward (4635 S Lanark Rd, Salt Lake City, UT 84124). A funeral service will be held on Monday, October 26th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the Utah Symphony or a favorite charity.
