She was predeceased by: her parents, Ulrich Lorenz Abegglen and Edlean Emily Clark; and her husband Karl A. Hauptfleisch of Henagar's Business College. She is survived by: her children, Daniel Hauptfleisch (Dana) and MariAnn Madsen. She is also survived by 6 grandchildren, and 13 great grandchildren.
