He was predeceased by: his parents, Gilbert Reed Marchant and Mary Afton Harding Marchant; his wife Joanne Marchant; and his siblings, Reed Marchant, Duane Marchant, Adele Lambert, Jennie Hyde and Mattie Jean Marchant.
He is survived by: his children, Jon Marchant (Jenni) and Niki Kearns (Jeremy); his grandchildren, Jordan Kearns (Hanna), Madison Reynolds (Nate), Hallie Hicks (Austin), Ryan Marchant (Emalea), Madeline Elkins (Garrett) and Abbie Marchant; and his great grandchildren, Sophie Jo Kearns, Judd Kearns, Rhett Kearns, Piper Lew Reynolds, Beau Reynolds, Richard Elkins, Logan Elkins and Everrett Elkins.
Viewing will be held on Sunday, October 11th 2026 from 5:00 PM to 6:30 PM and on Monday, October 12th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:30 AM. A funeral service will be held on Monday, October 12th 2026 at 12:00 PM at the Kamas Utah Stake Center (3038 N S R 32, Kamas, UT 84036).
