It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Melva R. Adamson in South Jordan, Utah, who passed away on August 4, 2025, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Melva R. Adamson to pay them a last tribute.
As Melva departs from this earthly realm, her essence lingers — a whisper on the wind, a ripple on the water — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of life and death. Though Melva may no longer walk beside us, her spirit lives on in the memories and the legacy Melva leaves behind.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Earl Soren Roach and Amanda Burgess Roach. She is survived by: her children, Robert Alan Patterson, Rick L. Patterson and Sue Smart; and her son-in-law Scott Smart. She is also survived by 12 grandchildren and 20 great-grandchildren.
Viewing will be held on Monday, August 11th 2025 from 12:30 PM to 1:45 PM and at 1:45 PM at the Larkin Sunset Gardens (1950 E Dimple Dell Road, Sandy, UT 84092). A funeral service will be held on Monday, August 11th 2025 at 2:00 PM and at 3:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Monday, August 11th 2025 at 3:30 PM.
