Reiner Lassig Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Reiner Lassig of South Jordan, Utah, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on July 26, 2025 at the age of 89. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Otto Oswald Lassig and Johanna Kamilla Kappel Lassig; and his brother Klaus Lassig. He is survived by: his wife Jan; his children, Eric (Stephanie), Shan (Thelma), Julie Eihausen (Steve), Steven (Becky), Greg (Jenny), Kirk (Kirstin), Kevin (Jennie), Chad (Tristi), Tyler (Cheryl) and Laraine Nelson (Andrew); his sister Annemarie Ferrari; and his sister-in-law Arlene Lassig. He is also survived by 33 grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren.
Viewing will be held on Friday, August 1st 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:30 PM and on Saturday, August 2nd 2025 from 9:30 AM to 10:45 AM. A funeral service will be held on Saturday, August 2nd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints (10860 S 3200 W, South Jordan, UT 84095).
