He was predeceased by: his parents, Rudger Nelson and Blanche Nelson; and his wife Connie Carr Nelson. He is survived by: his children, Trina Grandinetti (Mark), Mindi Paskins (Russ) and Chad Nelson; and his grandchildren, Tori Locke (Logan), Desirae Jaynes (Darren), Samantha Williams (Jesse), Riley Grandinetti (Emily), Luke Nelson, Parker Nelson, Whitney Beard (Nick) and Connor Nelson. He is also survived by 13 great-grandchildren.
