Wayne Ursenbach Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Wayne Ursenbach (South Jordan, Utah), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on March 20, 2025 at the age of 101. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Octave Willis Ursenbach and Jessie Redd Ursenbach; his daughter Marilyn; his wife Bernice; his son-in-law Clay C. Christensen (Sylvia); his grandson Scott Leatham; and his sisters, Verena Hatch (Eph), Carmen Rich (Boyd) and Marilyn Krammer (Lou).
He is survived by: his children, Sylvia Christensen of Bellevue, WA, Stephen Grant (Tammy) of San Jose, CA, Kathy Bertasso (Michael Jon), Brent (Kathy), Carol Leatham (Bradley) and Maurine Akin (Larry); and his brother Garry (Deannie). He is also survived by 32 grandchildren, 76 great-grandchildren, and 3 great-great-grandchildren, as well as many cousins, nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Church of Jesus Christ Humanitarian Fund (donate.churchofjesuschrist.org), or to the charity of one's choice.
