As Eugene departs from our midst, his spirit ascends to join the cosmic dance of stars, a shimmering constellation of memories that will forever grace the night sky of the hearts of those who loved Eugene. Though Eugene may no longer walk beside us, his legacy lives on — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of time and space.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Eldon A. Ottesen and Ruby Taylor Ottesen; and his daughter Shauna Lee Ottesen. He is survived by: his wife Karen Lee Brown; and his children, Randy (Wendy Bauman), Mark (Sheri Burnett), Julie (Chris Partridge) and Teresa (Jason Hamblin).
Viewing will be held on Thursday, June 5th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Friday, June 6th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 10:45 AM at the Leavitt's Mortuary & Aultorest Memorial Park (836 36th St, Ogden, UT 84403). A funeral service will be held on Friday, June 6th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location.
