He was predeceased by: his parents, Col. Keith Nystrom and Rose Keller Nystrom. He is survived by: his wife Linda Smith; his daughters, Hillary Hinkson (Anstey) and Brittney Nystrom (Patrick Rog); and his grandchildren, Kamden Hinkson, Keller Hinkson, Sasha Rog and Genevieve Rog.
A prayer was held on Friday, September 11th 2026 at 10:15 AM at the Holy Family Catholic Church (1100 E 5550 S, South Ogden, UT 84403). A Mass was held on Friday, September 11th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Catholic Community Services of Utah.
