It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Alexander James Gomez of South Salt Lake, Utah, who passed away on May 20, 2026, at the age of 38, leaving to mourn family and friends. Though Alexander may no longer walk beside us, his memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Alexander touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In his absence, his spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
He was predeceased by: his grandparents, Jesus, Delia Gomez, Marvin and Marilyn Jacobsen. He is survived by: his parents, Amador Gomez and Leisa Carol Gomez; his siblings, Amber Miller (Tony), Jason Wolf-Mann (Chace) and Janelle Gomez; and his pet Anastasia (Stazi). He is also survived by several nephews and nieces, including great nephews and nieces.
Viewing will be held on Friday, June 5th 2026 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Saturday, June 6th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 10:45 AM at the McDougal Funeral Home - C/D (4330 S Redwood Rd, Taylorsville, UT 84123). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, June 6th 2026 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location. A graveside service will be held on Saturday, June 6th 2026 at 12:00 PM at the West Jordan City Cemetery (7925 1300 W, Taylorsville, UT 84123).
