He was predeceased by : his parents, Floyd Kay Passey and Melba Joy Passey Jeppsen (Briggs); his wife Sharon Lee Hills Long; his brother Randy; and his stepbrother Paul.

He is survived by : his brother Darwin Passey; his niece ChyAnne Rasmussen (Allen); his nephew Shane Passey (Carly); his sister-in-law Cherie Glon (Tom); and his stepsiblings, Debbie Wassom (Steve), Peter Jeppsen (Jean), Cathy York, Bonnie Olaveson (Alan), Susan Fairbourne, Mary (Brian) and Laura Medrano.
