He was predeceased by: his grandparents, Joe, JoAnn Richmond, John and Stella Wernig; and his stepparents, Jim Wilbur and Christine Wernig.
He is survived by: his children, Emma Madison Wernig and Nolan Mac Wernig; his parents, Jerome Robert Wernig Sr. and Peggy Wilbur; and his siblings, Erin Russell (Wernig), Heidi Jensen and Jerome Robert Wernig Jr.. He is also survived by many step-siblings, cousins, aunts, uncles nephews and nieces.
