He was predeceased by: his father Keith J. Barney; his sister April Lyn; his grandparents, Ray, Lucinda Barney and LaDean Jarvis; and his friend Brian Hancock.
He is survived by: his mother Valene Jarvis Barney; his children, Kassadie Jae Barney, Brian Curtis Barney, Elizabeth Rae Barney, Kaden Dean Barney and Korbin Lynn Barney; his wife Tekoa Lynn Phillips; his brother-in-law Mark Fillmore; his niece April (Kris Kay); his great-nieces and great-nephews, Luke and Sawyer; his nephews, Caz and Colton; his great-nieces and great-nephews, Cadence and Kelsey; his nephew Trevor; his great-nieces, Annie and Rachel; and his great-nephew Beau.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, June 8th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Monday, June 9th 2025 from 9:45 AM to 10:45 AM. A celebration of life will be held on Monday, June 9th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints (1006 E 200 S, Spanish Fork, UT 84660).
