He is survived by: his children, Gregory Thomas (Chieko), Karen Jean Thomas Smart, Melanie Thomas Thayne and Pamela Ritz Thomas; his father Edward Aitken Thomas; his brothers, Calvin Ford Thomas (Carol) and Gerald Eugene Thomas; his granddaughter Mandee Thomas Montero; his sister Arvilla Dale Thomas Smith; his children, David Eugene Thomas (Rebecca), Braden Edward Thomas and Jenifer Thomas Lee (Brysen); his son-in-law Steven Smart; and also Bernell Smith. He is also survived by grandchildren, forty-two great-grandchildren with one expected, and three great-great grandchildren.
