She was predeceased by : her parents, John Welba and Susan Izela Montague Ferre; her sister O'Rhea; her son Steve; and her son-in-law Bryan.

She is survived by : her husband Gerald Sumsion (Jerry); her daughter Susan Dutson; her granddaughter Cristi Renshaw (Randy); her great grandchildren, Haiden Reese and Macie Mott (Korbin); and also, Rex, Matt Rose, Doug Christensen and Susan Taylor.
