He is survived by: his children, Kerry Ferre (Betty), Carl Ferre (Mickey), Gayle Openshaw (Emery) and Frank Ferre (Amanda); and his siblings, LaRene Braithwaite, Jerry Ferre and Virginia Gore. He is also survived by 16 grandchildren and 23 great-grandchildren.
