She was predeceased by: her mother J. Lorraine Kingdon; her husband Douglas Reed Thompson; her son Aaron Carpenter; and her siblings, Warren Kingdon and Suzie Kingdon.
She is survived by: her children, Denise Allen (Gary), Melissa Jenkins (Ryan), Abraham Carpenter (Aubrie), Allyson Ercanbrack (Tom), Kathy Christensen (J. D.), Adam Carpenter (Kari), Becky Wilhite (Mark), Scott Thompson (Alitha) and Jacob Carpenter (Jill). She is also survived by 33 grandchildren; and 17 great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Friday, September 25th 2026 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Saturday, September 26th 2026 from 9:45 AM to 10:45 AM. A funeral service will be held on Saturday, September 26th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints (470 E Salem Canal Rd, Salem, UT 84653).
