He was predeceased by: his parents, Dennis Lundholm and Doris Shepherd Downey; his wife Merle Lucile Bean; his children, John, Brent and Merle Ann; his siblings, Maurice, Ned, Russell, Bob, Patsy and Doris; and his sisters-in-law, Margie Downey, Carol Downey, Hazel Downey and Anna Mae Downey.
He is survived by: his children, Steven J (Michele), Gary (Becky) of Orem, Michael R. (Tricia), Jeanette of Spanish Fork and Carolyn of Las Vegas; his siblings, Betty Cartwright (Clifford) of Richland, WA and Doug Downey of Spanish Fork; and his brothers-in-law, Duane Curtis of Payson, Vernon Marshall of West Mountain and Clifford Cartwright of Richland, WA. He is also survived by 30 grandchildren and 41 great-grandchildren.
