She was predeceased by: her parents, Joseph Edward Stanworth and Margaret Alverta Peterson Stanworth; her husband Alan Finch Sumsion; and her daughter Connie. She is survived by: her children, Eddie Sumsion (Janet), Joseph Sumsion (Ann), Gary Sumsion (Scott Smith), Garth Sumsion (Deidra), Valerie Jasper and April Sanchez (Christopher); and her son-in-law Bruce Jensen. She is also survived by 13 grandchildren, 6 great-grandchildren, and her four-legged companion Buddy.
Visitation will be held on Monday, October 13th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 10:30 AM at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints (505 E 900 N, Spanish Fork, UT 84660). A funeral service will be held on Monday, October 13th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial will be held on Monday, October 13th 2025 at the Springville Evergreen Cemetery (1997 S 400 E St, Springville, UT 84663).
