It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Mary Mikkelsen Petty (Spanish Fork, Utah), who passed away on July 21, 2020, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Elmer Aagard and Mary Peel Mikkelsen; her son Kenneth Petty (Yvonne); her great grandchildren, Rylan Petty and Brooklyn Sorensen; and her brother Andrew Mikkelsen (Anita).

She is survived by: her former husband Horace A. Petty; her daughters, Mary Mathis (Allen), Susan Hicks (Rex), Karen Zeiner (Jonathan), Torrington and Lisa Petty Taylor; and her siblings, John Mikkelsen (Betty Jean), Glenn Mikkelsen (Leola), Wood Cross, Shonnie Smock, Richmond and Ruth Mikkelsen. She is also survived by 14 grandchildren and 34 great grandchildren.
