He was predeceased by: his parents, Merrill Goodson McKell and Thelma Sophia Johnson McKell; his son Michael; and his siblings, CJ McKell, Blanche Scheidecker and Merlene Fullmer.
He is survived by: his wife Beckie Sue McKell; his children, Chet, Clint and Logan (Richard Ross); his grandchildren, Trevor, Bree, Dakota, Sadie, Paisley and Presley; and his caregiver Sig. He is also survived by four great-grandchildren.
