It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Shela Rae Peterson Shepherd of Spanish Fork, Utah, who passed away on March 27, 2023, at the age of 77, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Dean Peterson and Thela Peterson; her husband Marvin Shepherd; her children, Retha Davis and Bobby Eichler; her sister Mary Pace; her brother-in-law David Pace; her brother Martin Peterson; her brother-in-law Larry Fitch; her son-in-law Curt Thorn; and her grandsons, Carlos Reyes and Charles Hawk Borel.

She is survived by: her former husband Bob Eichler; her children, Verlena Thorn, Jeff Shepherd (Anne), Charlie Agnus (Mike) and LeAnne Shepherd; her siblings, Edith Hazelton (Dave), Joe Peterson, Earl Peterson (Janet) and Phyllis Hawley (Larry); and her sister-in-law Joan Peterson.
