With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Shirl Albert Simmons (Spanish Fork, Utah), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on April 20, 2025. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his wife Joyce B. Simmons; his parents, William A. Simmons of Lake Shore, Utah. and Clara S. Barney of Lake Shore, Utah.; his sister Marie Newitt; his son Brent S. Simmons; and his great grandchild Grace Merrill.

He is survived by: his children, David R. Simmons, Janice Groo (Terry), Norman S. Simmons (Jennifer), Jerry L. Simmons (Amanda), Ray Dean Simmons (Tiffany), Rodney P. Simmons (Melissa) and Brian W. Simmons (Julie); and his sister Helen Nielson. He is also survived by 25 grandchildren, and 10 great-grandchildren.
