He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Wilford W. Brooks and Irva Romerill; his wife Lillian R. Nelson; and his children, Mark Brooks, Vicky Durham (Michael), Marty Butts (Ramona), Sue Wilson (Steve), Peter Brooks (Charles), Annie Brooks, Clayton Brooks (Touch) and Matt Brooks (Melissa). He was also cherished by 23 grandchildren and 24 great-grandchildren.
