With sadness, we share the passing of William Nielsen (Spanish Fork, Utah). William, born on January 26, 1941, passed away on August 22, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Emil K. Nielsen and Eva Taylor Nielsen; his siblings, Albert Nielsen (Bert), Devon Nielsen, Nada Lee Nielsen and Eva Colleen Nielsen McCormick; and his son Clark Nielsen.
He is survived by: his wife Mary Jensen (Arlene); his grandchildren, Krista Echeverria (Carlos), Austin Nielsen (Breanna), Anna Marie Ordaz (Alex), Mimi Monson (Neal), Brandon Nielsen and Jeffrey Mellen; his great grandchildren, Alexes Echeverria, Kaylee Echeverria, Peyton Echeverria, Apollo Nielsen, Scarlett Monson, Boston Echeverria of Evie Nielsen, J. J, Brody Nielsen and Christian Monson; and his children, Jeff Nielsen (Misook), Teresa Just (Michael), Chad Nielsen (Bert) and Debera Mellen (Jeff). He is also survived by his 6 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren along with a large extended family including his brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nephews and nieces.
A graveside service was held on Monday, August 31st 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Spanish Fork City Cemetery (420 S 400 E, Spanish Fork, UT 84660).
