He was predeceased by: his parents, Berniece Weight and Rolland Esplin Brown; his siblings, Abia, Phillip and Diane Carlen; and his great grandchild Arya Nielsen.
He is survived by: his wife Elaine Barton Brown; his children, Marty Brown (Leslie), Stacie Nielsen (Dale), Lydia Morgan (Marty) and Jennifer Gordon (Steven); his siblings, David Gunn (Lori) and Virginia Mattinson (Butch); and his brother-in-law Lynn Carlen. He is also survived by 11 grandchildren, and 20 great-grandchildren.
