He was predeceased by: his parents, Juanita Russell and Joseph Benjamin Muhlestein; his wife Lila Marolyn Collins; his son-in-law Ralph Brown; his grandchildren, Rusten and Ryan Muhlestein; and his siblings, Nelma, Elayne, Betty and Keith.
He is survived by: his children, Russell Muhlestein (Debbie), Jerilyn Brown (Mark Warner) and Robert Muhlestein (Maralee); and his brothers, Milo and Jim. He is also survived by 15 grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
