He was predeceased by: his parents, Bertha Maurine Fullmer Mortensen and Alex Holden Mortensen; his brothers, Kenneth Mortensen, Clyde Mortensen and Paul Mortensen; and his daughter-in-law Lisa Jane Mortensen.
He is survived by: his wife Marilyn Joy Durrant Mortensen; his siblings, Bob Mortensen (Sandy), Karl Mortensen (Vicki) and Marilyn Warner (Kenneth); and his children, Jay Rhett Mortensen (Emily), Trent Alex Mortensen (Jana), Clint B. Mortensen (Natilee), Audra Joy McHoes (Tom), Kam Durrant Mortensen (Brittney) and Quinn Spencer Mortensen (Leslie). He is also survived by his 24 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.
Viewing was held on Tuesday, May 27th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Wednesday, May 28th 2025 from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM. A funeral service was held on Wednesday, May 28th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the LDS Church (996 W Center St, Springville, UT 84663).
