With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Juanita Carter in Springville, Utah, who passed away on June 3, 2025 at the age of 85. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As we bid farewell to this luminous soul, let her loved ones carry forward the torch of her memory, illuminating the path ahead with the warmth of her love and the brilliance of her spirit. Though Juanita may journey beyond the horizon of our sight, her essence remains woven into the very fabric of our being — a guiding light in the darkness, a beacon of hope in the night.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Anson'Louis'Lessard Lessard and Ruby Fraser Lessard. She is survived by: her husband Gary Carter; and her children, Greg (Carol), Todd (Cindy), Scott (Laura), Steve (Jill) and Amy Nelson (Wayne Healey). She is also survived by 14 grandchildren, 34 great-grandchildren, and 3 great-great-grandchildren.
Viewing will be held on Monday, June 9th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Tuesday, June 10th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:30 PM at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints (3120 W 4700 S, West Valley City, UT 84119). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, June 10th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
She spent countless hours sewing and crocheting items to donate to Primary Children's Hospital, various charities, and friends over the years.
