He was predeceased by : his mother Phyllis Jean Benson; and his brother Steven. He is survived by : his father Melvin Thomas Ashton; his wife Susan Holley; his children, Jennifer, Tyler (Morgan), Joseph, Holly Murray (Chase) and Rebecca Finkenthal (Yanzey); and his brothers, Jeff, David and Terry.
