He was predeceased by: his parents, Lillie May Moosman and Royal Barney. He is survived by: his daughter Lisa Marie Barney; his grandson Tony Craig Barney; his daughter Julie Ann; his wife Marilyn Snow Barney of Springville, Utah; his son Craig Barney (Doreen); his grandchildren, Tony Barney and Tanisha Arellano; his son Bradley Barney (Janette); his grandchildren, Erica Barney, Stephanie Faulkner, Jordyn Wiggerman and Hailee McCandless; his great grandchild Nik Barney of Genoa, NV; his granddaughter Julie Ann LaPointe (David LaPointe); his great grandchildren, Emily, Britney, Tiffany and Ava of Broad Brook, CT; his grandson William Gourdin (Lisa); and his sisters, Nina Reid of Springville and Jean Brown (Ron) of Heber. He is also survived by grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Viewing will be held on Thursday, August 7th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Friday, August 8th 2025 from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM at the Wheeler Mortuary (211 E 200 S, Springville, UT 84663). A funeral service will be held on Friday, August 8th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location.
He passed peacefully into eternal rest on August 1, 2025, at the age of 84, surrounded by his loving family after a courageous battle with Alzheimer's disease.
